Just fifty per cent of children growing up in Christian homes will go on to have their own faith as adults.

As parents, if we want to encourage our children to find a faith that lasts, we need to model a faith that is real. At Raising Faith, Katharine Hill and Andy Frost will share ideas to help you; explore your children’s questions, encourage them to be connected in church community and inspire them to discover God in the everyday. These moments can be the foundations they build on for years to come.
Whether you’re a parent, grandparent or simply love to support parents, this event will help you explore how you can help children find a genuine faith of their own.

Join us for a light-hearted event about the ups and downs of raising under twelves.

No matter what kind of parent you are, parenthood brings with it so much joy, but it can also feel like you’re pulled in every direction. You navigate through colic, toddler tantrums, growth spurts, peer impact, pre-teen tantrums and … you get the idea. No doubt you’ll be trying to work through something right now!
Rob Parsons and Katharine Hill will present insights and top tips gathered from their combined experience of working alongside thousands of parents for over thirty years. You may laugh, you may cry, but we hope to leave you feeling uplifted and inspired.

Calling all mums! We want to recognise, affirm and celebrate your role in society.

We believe mums are kind of a big deal. After all, at any given point in the day (or night), you could be called on to be nurse, chef, referee, chauffeur, birthday party organiser, life coach, personal stylist, entertainer, dental hygienist, crisis negotiator, laundry service … Talk about a CV!

So we think you’ve earned yourself a night off! Grab yourself a drink of your choice and a nice big tub of ice cream, put your feet up and join Katharine Hill and Cathy Madavan for an evening of fun, encouragement and fresh inspiration.

This event is perfect for all women, at any stage of life. Whether you’re a high heels lady or you prefer romping around in wellies, you’re a Netflix fanatic or a coffee shop lover, this event will be a huge encouragement to you.

What does freedom truly look like? We try and maintain the momentum, but life keeps adding challenge after challenge! With home and family pressures, workplace trials, health and relationships – it’s difficult to know what’s worth keeping up and what we should let go of. But as Christian women, our identity lies not in the season of our lives, nor in our roles and responsibilities – but in Christ.

Join us as we unpack more about what freedom really looks like. Click here to book your place on this free event from Care for the Family.

Online @ 7.30pm on 10th, 11th or 12th Nov

What happens when you throw an ex-army paratrooper and a 1920’s penny farthing bicycle together? We realise no one has ever asked this question but… in our brand new event, Run the Race, we answer it anyway.

Rob Parsons OBE, founder of Care for the Family, Mark Chester, founder of Who Let The Dads Out, and Gerrit Bantjes, founder of having a name that no one can pronounce, join together to bring you this event – specifically designed for men.
Rob, Mark and Gerrit delve into the realities of how we run the race of life, and what perseverance looks like for us as men today. In any physical race, we can do things to help us endure, and there are real pressures and responsibilities that arise that we can be ready for.
During the event, Rob Parsons speaks with you entirely from the comfort of our studio … while Mark and Gerrit do so whilst facing each other in a literal bike race, filled with obstacles and challenges. We also have some very special guests to help us unpack perseverance, including Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist John Archer.

This online event is for anyone and everyone, across the generations, who wants to gain a bit more wisdom to apply to their day-to-day life.
Because you don't always have to learn the hard way.

Life is hard enough without having to learn lessons the hard way. Rob was reminded of this when his grandchildren were born and realised he’d love the chance to share his life lessons with them. He imagined sitting in front of the fire in his study and having one-to-one conversations with them when they are grown. Perhaps it would be when they’d begun their first job, got married, a friend had betrayed them or their dream had been crushed.

Pull up a chair and get comfortable, because – just maybe – you don’t have to learn the hard way.
You’ll hear stories that will touch your heart and moments to laugh together – any minute of this evening could change your life forever.

Running online on various dates during September, October and November

The Bereavement Care Awareness course has been produced as part of Care for the Family’s bereavement training for churches. It is useful for clergy, church leaders, pastoral care leaders or any volunteer interested in supporting bereaved people – whether they are already engaged in bereavement support or are considering the possibility of developing it.

This will be delivered via the ZOOM videoconferencing platform, and dates are now available. Places will initially be capped at 30 per event. The training will last for roughly three hours, with a mix of talks, group activities, videos and individual reflection.
